Molecule App New Mirage UX +1
v319
16 February 2026

[Date: February 16, 2026]

This release enhances trade management capabilities with new permission controls and clearing account tracking, expands our market data coverage with improved Morningstar integrations, and delivers several user interface improvements in Mirage. Key highlights include granular user permissions for trade deletion, automated capture of clearing accounts from CME trades, enhanced asset-level authorization controls, and expanded market data support for Nord Pool and FX rate mappings.

Trade Management & Permissions

Separate Delete Trade Permissions - Trade editing and deletion permissions can now be managed independently. A new delete_trades role allows administrators to grant users permission to edit trades while restricting their ability to delete them. The permission applies across all trade interfaces including bulk actions, individual trade screens, and API endpoints. During migration, existing users with update_trades permission will automatically receive the new delete_trades role to maintain current functionality. [OME-397]

CME Clearing Account Capture - Trades imported from CME now automatically populate the clearing account field using data from the CME fill messages. This extends existing ICE clearing account functionality to CME, providing complete clearing account visibility across both major exchanges for better trade reconciliation and reporting. [OME-340]

Asset-Level Authorization Controls - For organizations with asset-based permissions enabled, trade access is now restricted based on user authorization for specific assets and books. Users can only view and interact with trades assigned to assets they have access to, providing enhanced security and data segregation for multi-entity organizations. This applies to all trade APIs, legs, and sublegs. [OME-371] [OME-384]

Market Data Enhancements

Nord Pool Market Data Support - Enhanced Morningstar integration now supports Nord Pool pricing data with improved parsing for European power markets. Updates include proper handling of monthly contract formats (3-character month codes), weekend price processing, and time zone corrections for accurate Nordic market coverage. [OME-382]

Enhanced FX Rate Mapping - Morningstar FX rate feeds now support custom currency mappings beyond standard currency codes. This enables processing of specialized rate feeds like Bank of England data that use unique identifiers to represent currency conversion rates, expanding FX coverage for international trading. [OME-390]

Advanced Mark Upload Controls - Mark spreadsheet uploads can now specify asset and asset product context directly in column headers using the format: <Product> ; <Asset ID> ; <Asset Product>. This enables precise mark targeting for complex portfolio structures with multiple assets per product, improving valuation accuracy for renewable energy and multi-site trading strategies. [OME-258]

User Interface Improvements

Mirage Reports as Primary Interface - Custom reports now default to the Mirage interface, with automatic redirection from legacy Ember screens to the enhanced Mirage experience. Report templates have been updated to fix invalid default values and improve compatibility with the modern interface. [OME-355]

Bug Fixes & Performance

Fixed Option Exercise Settlement Override Bug - Resolved an issue where option exercises failed to use manually overridden settlement dates, ensuring proper exercise evaluation when settlement dates differ from standard contract schedules. [OME-377]

Corrected Sub-Hourly As-Generated Volumes - Fixed volume calculation bug for sub-hourly as-generated trades where quantities were incorrectly summing all intervals within an hour instead of using interval-specific values. [OME-400]

Improved Entry Building Reliability - Enhanced error handling for inventory entry building and settlement entry processes to prevent failures when processing trades with orphaned configurations or deleted trade references. [OME-372] [OME-376]

Fixed Stepwise Trade Volume Issues - Resolved volume inheritance problems in stepwise trade relationships where child trade leg quantities did not properly match their parent leg quantities, ensuring accurate position tracking through trade rollovers. [OME-201]
